Body Protection

Personal protective equipment (PPE) is designed to protect workers from injuries or illnesses resulting from chemical, radiological, physical, electrical, mechanical, or other workplace hazards. In some cases, workers must shield most or all of their bodies against workplace hazards. Employees who face possible bodily injury of any kind that cannot be eliminated through engineering, work practice, or administrative controls, must wear appropriate body protection while performing their jobs.
