Leading Edge Work

Construction activities near a leading edge expose workers to serious fall hazards, especially when guardrails or other protections are not yet in place. This 1-page safety meeting topic has two discussion questions and can be used to host a safety meeting focused on how to safely perform tasks near leading edges, including proper use of fall protection, identifying when guardrails or controlled access zones are required, and recognizing when a written plan must be in place.
