Lyme Disease
One of the most common tick-borne diseases in the U.S., Lyme Disease is caused by a bacteria that is transmitted to humans through the bite of an infected blacklegged tick. Outdoor workers have an increased risk of contact with ticks especially if the job takes them into wooded areas, near high grass, or around leaf litter.
