Tower Climbing

To erect, inspect, maintain, test, repair or decommission communication structures and equipment, professional technicians must know how to safely climb towers. Only trained workers are allowed to participate in tower climbing work activities and must receive extensive, specialized training before being allowed to climb towers. This safety topic can be used in addition to (not in place of) required safety training and focuses primarily on preparation before the climb and PPE requirements.
